Vismo: ASIS Exhibition in Orlando Florida was a great success

The Vismo Team would like to thank all of our stand visitors for taking the time to see us at the ASIS 2016 Security Exhibition in Orlando, 12-15 September. We were able to make some great connections and are glad that many of the attendees had the chance to try out our award-winning products, technologies and functionalities for themselves.

We were delighted to receive our Accolades 2016 Security’s Best Winner Award for our Vismo-Alert, and gain such a positive response from both the judges and attendees at the ASIS Exhibition.

Recognised as one of the most innovative solutions for 2016 – The Vismo-Alert Wearable button is a personal alarm system that connects to the Vismo Smartphone Application via Bluetooth (Panic Button requires the installation of the Vismo application). The Vismo-Alert overcomes the need for the user to unlock their device when activating the Panic Button; providing the designated response team with a fast way of alerting users in the event of an emergency.

We had a brilliant time with everyone at the ASIS 2016 Security Exhibition in Orlando and look forward to exhibiting at the ASIS 2017 Security Exhibition in Milan, March 29-31.

Vismo Wins ASIS Accolades 2016 Security’s Best Winner Award

ASIS-Accolades-Winner-BadgeThe Vismo Team are delighted to announce that our Vismo-Alert has been chosen by the ASIS International organisation as a winner of the 2016 ASIS Accolades Security’s Best competition, which recognises the industry’s most innovative new technologies, products, services and solutions. A team of judges representing end users and technology experts evaluated all entries before selecting the Vismo-Alert as one of the most innovative solutions for 2016.

As experts suggest, it is important that during a crisis situation, an activation of a Panic Button remains a largely covert exercise and that any device that is noticeably in an “alarm” state can be detrimental to the safety of the user. The Vismo-Alert achieves this as it overcomes the need for the user to unlock their device when activating the Panic Button. When pressed, the Vismo-Alert uses Bluetooth technology to initiate a Panic Alert remotely on the Vismo smartphone application, allowing for a faster, covert and safer response.

Vismo-Alert-hgh-resThe Vismo-Alert can be worn on the wrist, belt and pendant or carried loose with the options of stealth mode, fall detection and disconnect alert. Multiple Vismo-Alerts can also be connected to a user’s smartphone, meaning that Vismo-Alerts could be left at strategic locations such as inside a vehicle and/or building.

Vismo has taken advice from Industry Experts in kidnap and hostage scenarios and the developments made reflect the company’s commitment to improving the safety of its customers.

“We are thrilled to receive The ASIS Accolades Security’s Best Award and have our Vismo-Alert recognised as one of the most innovative solutions for 2016” said Colin Dale, Business Development Director of Vismo.
